I just created a new dA account! After mulling it over for a while, I decided to start fresh with a new account! If you'd like to continue to watch me, my new account is Woylvesbane !! I even lived it up and got a premium! I probably won't deactivate this account, and I'll still be using this one until I officially finish moving over there. I hope to see you all there!!

    I'm sure that at least some of you have noticed my disappearance. Maybe. Well, in short, my life has become extremely hectic. Starting a few months ago, my dog, Buddy, had to be euthanized because of a tumor on the bile duct of his Gall Bladder, which prevented him from processing any food past his stomach. He went from a 90lb dog a little over a year ago(of course, he was overweight at that time) to a paltry 60lbs. Obviously, the loss of a family member that has been with us since February of 2005 was stressful on myself and my family included. The stress and whatnot has increased from there.
    About a month after Buddy's passing, I had finals for my classes, which sucked. Then I got my hours increased at work. I've been getting around 30 hours a week now, which had doubled from what it was during school. Obviously something like that takes a lot of getting used to. It would have been a little better if my manager hadn't made it my official duty to clean up after everyone else, since no one else can be bothered to do. Including the new kennel girl, who only works 2 and a half days a week. She hasn't done a single bit of the new extra cleaning on the special list thing that she's supposed to. I've picked up the slack on my days I work. It's just frustrating, and takes away from time I could spend helping the vets and learning new things. 
    AND ON TOP OF THAT, my family's been going through some medical issues now too. My sister is on worker's comp wit carpal tunnel from her new warehouse job, and my Dad just got out of the hospital. He had a blister on his foot that hadn't healed in over a month, and wound up loosing another toe on his already previously operated on foot (He now has only 3 toes on that foot. I've been calling him T-Rex toes XD). He's finally out of the hospital, however, my mom goes in for hip replacement surgery next week. She's been looking forward to this for a long time, and I'm glad that she's FINALLY getting it done, but with her and my dad laid up for the next few weeks afterwards, my Sister and I have to take care of the cooking and the cleaning in the house. I don't mind, and I completely understand, but this just further adds to my work load. I was hoping that I would have the time to volunteer at the Horse Barn I ride at this summer, but so far those odds aren't stacked in my favor.

     I've been staying strong though, so don't worry. My Depression medication is doing it's job, and I find that I'm handling all of this pretty well. But with all of this going on, I have barely had time for myself, let alone the art I owe. So, since I don't know when this roller coaster of crap is going to end, I refunded my one commission I had, and I'm continuing to put off the two art trades I have as well. If I post any art up here, it will either be peices from my painting class or personal art, since that's all I can do to keep me sane these days. I feel terrible doing this; I feel kinda selfish for working on art for myself for once, but it's what I need in order to de-stress and unwind.

    As far as the future goes, I've given a few things a lot of thought. First, I don't thing I'll ever do commissions again. I think if I need money, I'll just make adoptables or something. I've also been thinking about making a new account as well, and moving over there. Since I know that I'll probably never be able to get a premium membership, I think making a new account is the best course of action so I can change my username. My current one is kinda stupid, I'm not gunna lie. I really, REALLY want to change it. Not to mention, all the really old and crappy art that's on here...  I guess I need to clean out my gallery, huh?

Well, anyways, thank you if you've made it this far. I'm not sure how much sense this journal makes since I'm typing like a zombie after work, but I hope you guys at least got the gist of what's been going on. Thank you for sticking with me for all of these years. Hopefully I'll upload some art here soon; I know you guys haven't seen any quality art for a while.

Alrighty. I hate to have to do this when I still have school and such, but I just had to replenish my oil paints for my painting class (which cost an arm and a leg), and I have my taxes come out of my account tomorrow, since I owe about $144 on the state. So, to keep me going until I get paid next week, I am opening commissions.

How does it work?

Basically, You tell me what you'd like me to draw for you and how much you'd like to pay for it. I have the right to deny any offer I believe is too low, but at this point it's very unlikely that any commission offer will be turned down. So feel free to peruse my gallery (Here ) and if you like any particular work or style, let me know.

Ways to Pay

At this point, I will only accept PayPal. I don't have time to wait for the commission's widget to convert into cash, so NO POINTS. Do not ask me if I take points, I will just tell you to re-read the journal. I may use points in the future, but for now, no.

Requesting an Commission

Either comment in the journal here or send me a note. Please be sure to send the reference image(s) of your critter as well as what you would like done (Chibi, full detail picture, sketch, traditional, digital, etc.) And don't forget to add what your commission budget is! If I accept, I'll send you a note (or reply to your note) with my PayPal. I MUST BE PAID BEFORE ANY WORK BEGINS. If you need a refund at any time, let me know; I'll have what you paid me written down.

Alright, so my birthday is coming up next week so I thought I'd might give this a shot. I also didn't get much of a response on my last toko journal. Hopefully some birthday magic will work with this one!

I am looking for Dire built Tokotas as well as Curly mane Tokotas( Even better if you combine them into one!) I've wanted a Dire since I first joined the Tokota group, and I've also developed an affection twoards curlies over time as well. Even if they're currently only genos, are blind infertile, whatever; as long as they're still rideable, I'll take 'em!!
