Ruuvak Sketch

Alright, next up; my precious baby Ruvvak!

He's a design I purchased from back in... October, I think? I've been doodling him everywhere, but this is the first time I've uploaded a drawing of him here. If you'd like to see what he looks like, please feel free to look at SugarPoultry's original art of him, here:  sta.sh/01pejzy359he

I added a few things to him (just the scar and the birb necklace), but overall, he remains the same as when I bought him. In case you can't read my handwriting (who can, really), here's his info so far:

Ruvvak is a loner, and seems to constantly be traveling, or wandering. Not many know why. He is feared and despised by fellow werewolves from all around due to his unique abilities. By simply touching the remains of a creature, or it's headstone (though touching the actual remains gives a better effect), he can see the life of the deceased, and who the creature was. This has led the majority of others to believe that he is a necromancer, and is often shunned, persecuted, and driven out. Hence why he's constantly moving.

Due to his powers, he often feels that it is his duty to show the proper respect for the dead, and to be their voice. Any remains of any creature he finds in his travels, he takes it upon himself to perform last rights for it. He does so out of his duty to honor the dead, even if other before him have neglected to do so. Regardless of what they were in life, everyone should be at least given the proper respect in death, according to Ruvvak.

Besides playing the role of wandering gravedigger, Ruvvak does dabble a little in the magic arts, though not necromancy, as most believe. He usually teaches himself techniques that aid him in his journey or to help him perform last rights and funerals for the dead. He is especially adept at flame magic, since it helps him both to cook and to set funeral pyres.

Fun fact about Ruvvak: The raven skull on his necklace was a friend of his from childhood. The bird got hit by a car, and died, however he refused to leave Ruvvak alone. He beseeched Ruvvak to saty together always, an so Ruvvak took his friend's skull and keeps him close to heart. The bird will talk with Ruvvak and provide council and solace when Ruvvak needs it. The eyes in the skull glow blue when the bird speaks.

I'm actually pretty pleased with the way this turned out, save for the hands. I hope to get even better at drawing werewolves in the future though, and I feel that I still have a ways to go. I'm determined to work on it though! (oh, and kudos to whoever can tell me what his name means and what game-language it's from! >:3)
